Britt earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Dallas, a CIDA accredited institution. Before starting her own firm, she worked as a full-time designer with the prestigious boutique design firm, Boudreaux Associates in Dallas and also with two well-known interior designers in Durango, Colorado.
She has directed and completed numerous projects with clients from all over the U.S. but fell in love with the mountains after moving to Durango in 2014. With the opportunity to work on many residential and commercial projects- large and small - she has created and installed many unique designs including custom furniture and landscape designs to complement interior spaces.
She named her firm after her passion and heritage - Berg Haus means mountain home in German. She is a dedicated, dynamic professional with exceptional organizational skills complemented by her technical and artistic expertise.
Britt translates clients’ visions to designs using AutoCAD drafting to maximize interior space and facilitate changes throughout the process. Throughout her 15+ years in the industry, she has and continues to attend national conferences, establishing relationships with vendors around the world.
